Compassionate Behavioral Health Support in Arizona

Matthew 25 Verses 35-45……”Then He will answer them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it for one of the least of these, you did not do it for Me, either.”

What Issue Are We Trying to Solve?

Annualy, more than 50% of adults with mental illness in the U.S. didn’t receive treatment, often due to financial barriers or lack of insurance. At Bridge 2 Compassion, we raise money to provide behavioral health support for those in need in Maricopa County. People who are homeless face elevated risks of substance abuse and mental health disorders, trauma, chronic medical conditions, employment barriers, and incarceration. Therefore, services such as medical care and social support, are critical. Your support can help provide life-changing care and resources to those who need it most. Donate today and be a part of the solution!

Who We Are

Bridge 2 Compassion is a Christian organization committed to transforming lives through holistic care. Rooted in our mission to serve others, we collaborate with churches and faith-based organizations and individuals to deliver financial support to individuals who are uninsured and cannot afford long-term outpatient care. Guided by faith and compassion, we strive to build bridges to brighter futures, offering support to organizations committed to helping those struggling with addiction and homelessness overcome obstacles and pursue a renewed life.

What We Do

We perform an intraorganizational needs assessment to determine the treatment organization’s ability to assist clients experiencing homelessness. This process includes staff and stakeholder discussions to better understand the program’s assistance abilities. Key steps include:

  • Evaluating the target population’s basic demographics, such as gender, ethnicity, racial makeup, criminal justice experience, and family status.
  • Determining if these demographics and characteristics are reflected in the frontline staff providing services.
  • Identifying gaps in the continuum of care. The organization must ask questions about client retention, access to medication and care providers, and program difficulties.
  • Identifying organizational policies and procedures that contribute to the gaps identified in the continuum of care.

How We Help

Many individuals lack the financial resources to access the care they desperately need. We partner with organizations skilled in diagnosing and treating addiction, mental health conditions, homelessness, and other behavioral health issues to provide comprehensive support throughout the healing process. Here’s what our partner organizations provide:

Why We Do It

At the heart of our work is our motivation drawn from Matthew 25:35-40. We cherish the opportunity to serve those in need as we believe that “as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.” This scripture serves as our compass, guiding us in our mission to serve those experiencing behavioral health issues. Because to us, it’s more than an obligation, it’s a sacred duty.

How You Can Help

We can’t do this alone. You play a vital role in helping us make an impact. Join our network to expand our reach and create more opportunities for those in need, help provide financial support to those who need long-term care, counseling, and housing, or spread the word about our mission to ensure more people get the help they require. Together, we can make a difference. Get involved today and help change lives!
